"Being a Christian and the granddaughter of Methodist
minister, I’ve listened to gad zooks, how many sermons? Also being on our district Lay Speaking Committee for
eight years, how many talks and messages have I heard? And how many can I say I’ve remembered?! I can say, yours
is one that I will remember. You had us all at the first sentence! The entire service was blessed. Your message was
fun and it was deep. But more important, it was the way you made us feel. It felt like you were talking directly to
me and I hope that each person felt that way. You were inspired and inspiring. You have a gift. When Ernie spoke, my
head started to bobble around. It does that when certain people, including myself at times, read the Word. So
I smiled—and I kept smiling thru the service. Love was pouring out to each of us, and right back to you. May the
love of our Lord Jesus empower you to spread the Word in whatever way He sees fit.” Elaine Winward, Certified Lay
Speaker, United Methodist Church
“The seminar was a blessing! We appreciate your
service in Women’s Ministry.” Women’s Ministry team, Southland Christian Church, Lexington, Kentucky
“On
behalf of the Education Work Area, I’d like to thank you for the role you played in helping you make our Wednesday night
electives a success. I heard lots of good things about your class…Thank you again for your willingness to teach and
your dedication to Adult Discipleship.” Alison Clark, Centenary United Methodist Church, Lexington, Kentucky
