Carolina Can Help:
- Encourage new mothers that they are performing the most important job in the world,
despite societal and cultural assertions to the contrary
- Equip moms with children of all ages, as she has personally experienced everything
from baby colic to baby colostomy; toddler tantrums to teenage driving; broken bones and broken hearts; and childhood cancer,
as her oldest son is currently being treated for leukemia
- Articulate particular challenges in various levels of education, as she has children currently
enrolled at every level: elementary school, middle school, high school and college
- Explain in everyday language how to confront everyday challenges, dilemmas and
mundane responsibilities with creativity and verve
- Empower moms with strategies that have not only worked with her own children, but
which have worked with the hundreds of children she shepherded as Director of Children's Ministries, along
with those impacted by her seminars and workshops around the country
- Comment on how news-breaking alerts and stories impact families
- Nurture creativity in the home, as she is also a visual artist: painting in oils,
designing and hooking rugs, working in needlepoint and reproduction cross-stitch samplers, and having served as a consultant
for an interior design firm
- Devise strategies for organization in home life, as she has re-located five times
in as many years, crossing four state lines with spouse and four kids, a dog, various critters and fish!
- Write stories and articles (on very short notice) especially targeted to your audience
to help them meet the demands of parenting head-on, with proven strategies to blast them into brilliance
- Deliver a sermon using either liturgical aids or inspiration from Scripture, as she
is a Commissioned Lay Speaker of the United Methodist Church and has also completed various professional speakers training
courses (secular and non-denominational religious)
- Empathize with audiences struggling with serious illnesses or life-threatening battles,
as she has squarely faced childhood leukemia with her oldest child, and has suffered pain through personal injury, miscarriage
and the tragic loss of her father at age twelve
- Inspire audiences as varied as pre-school parenting groups to church groups
to women's retreats to congregations to adult-education classes with a tailor-made message--secular or spiritual--directed
to their particular needs
- Entertain audiences when lightheartedness is especially needed or desired, as
her interview style is fun and lively and her energy level is particularly high
- Meet your deadlines in radio and TV on very short notice, as she lives 55 miles
from midtown Manhattan
